The Pterotaum

"The Pterotaum are fierce, flaming beasts. Their skin is covered in magnetic scales which match the magnetic charge of the earth of their planet, which allows them to hover off of the ground. By pushing themselves off things, they can reach insanely high speeds, and can even pull themselves to the ground to use the force to launch themselves into the air, raining down on prey."
